Only one new movie is in general distribution, and it has not been pre-screened for critics, probably with good reason, since it's yet another hitman saga, this time starring Nic Cage. This will hit about 2500 theaters.

Something called EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE ITALIAN will make the rounds in a few arthouses (85 screens). "A lovelorn fishmonger who has spent nearly a decade trying to win back his ex-girlfriend gets involved in a case of mistaken ethnicity in this warm-hearted romantic comedy." Critics have not seen this one either but - and correct me if I'm wrong here - this may be the single best romantic comedy of the century about lovelorn fishmongers, and may even best some of the rom-coms about confident fishmonger playboys.
