They had Manny, but that's about all they had. The big, moody galoot hit .533 in the NLCS, which is about all any human could possibly do, and they still lost 4 to 1. Where was the rest of the team?For the entire post-season, Manny slugged over 1000, with an OBP just short of .700. That tells you the Dodgers kinda sucked. They had fucking Clark Kent batting third and still couldn't win. A couple of months ago the Dodgers thought they were just two players short of a championship. They were right, and Manny was one of them. Unfortunately, the other would have to have been Jesus. And even then He'd have had to pitch on short rest.
And get a uniform exception for the sandals.
