I guess he just loves the great taste! Communion wafers, or as I call them, "Holy Oreos."All kidding aside, I can only think of one reason why anyone would steal consecrated hosts, and that would be for blasphemous satanic rituals. I suppose the most likely explanation is that the guy is as nutty as a fruitcake, which (now that I consider it) isn't all that nutty.
