There was nothing to crow about. The three new films did finish 1-2-3, as the warrior predicted, but they did so with lower numbers than expected. In fact, just about every film came in lower than expected. Reciord snowfalls must have hurt business in the north. Where I live we are so snowed in that a movie theater with an open parking lot is not an option. I went grocery shopping yesterday, just for myself - maybe 20 minutes total - and my entire car was covered with snow when I got back to it. I shoveled the driveway three times yesterday, and there is another foot of snow covering it right now! (I'm not feelin' the snow love that I need to clear it. It's four degrees below zero with 20mph winds.) Given all that, I suppose our local theaters must have set some record lows!By the way, we have already set the all-time record for the most December snow in our area, a record that has stood for 120+ years, and we did that with 11 days left in the month. And we have lots more in the forecast!
