The internet apologizes to Tina Fey

I'm wondering. Does Fey think that 100% of the world's population will like her? She has failed to grasp Scoopy's First Law, which is that no matter how ridiculous an opinion is, somebody somewhere will hold it. A substantial percentage of Americans think the universe is only 6000 years old. Some fairly large fraction of people, like one of every eight, think Dick Cheney is a great VP. A vast number of people belong to neo-Nazi groups and have pictures of Hitler on their wall instead of movie posters from The Big Lebowski.

If there's a whole bunch of people who love Hitler, then there's an even greater number that don't like Tina Fey, because the case for her merit is less convincing than the case for his lack of merit. (Hey, I'm just stating the obvious. I personally LOVE her work. Perhaps the best female comedy writer in history.)

Price of fame, Tina, price of fame. Cash your enormous checks and ignore it.
