This has to be seen to be believed.
Before Leslie Nielsen turned into just about the best comic actor in history, he was possibly the worst serious actor in history, Shatner included. And he was exactly the same then! His unintentionally funny performances may have been what got his comic potential noticed, since he still acts the same, except now it is supposed to be funny. The movie below is Day of the Animals (1977) - Nielsen was already in his 50s then. He turns 83 in a couple of weeks!
