They got a warning because only a drug can claim to reduce cholesterol, and they have not filed a handy-dandy drug application! Not to mention their TPS reports!Sounds like something from Stalinist Russia. Who gives a crap about that bureaucratic chickenshit about filing the right paperwork? Not we consumers, who pay for the FDA to exist. For any FDA officials reading this, here's what we DO care about:
- If the claim is true, let 'em use it.
- If the claim is false, slap about a zillion dollar fine on 'em and make 'em grovel in public - possibly make the CEO spend 30 days with his head sticking through a public pillory.
