My headline sounds exculpatory. It is not. In fact, the tests may indicate that Manny is guilty of something worse than previously thought.

First of all, MLB obtained the information that he had a prescription for hCG, so they suspended him on that basis, not as a result of the test. Second, the drug test showed an unnatural level of testosterone. Although the source of that has not been identified, the experts concluded that it could not be produced naturally by the body.
