US shock jock Michael Savage is banned from the UK - even though he had not planned to go there!

Because you can't be too careful.

A spokesman said the DJ was excluded for "making comments," because ... um ... radio commenters should not do that. Plus they should change their job title.

I always have to remind people that the First Amendment makes America unique in the world. America is the only major country where the government is constitutionally forbidden to tell people which opinions they may or may not express in public.

Having written that, let me just say that I would have no problem if they banned this guy just for being an utter douchebag.
