The Giants again shut out the opposition

I think that I have not been very complimentary to Barry Zito in the past, but he has pitched MUCH better than indicated by his 8-11 record this year. To wit:

• Tonight: he gives up no runs on two hits. No decision. Team wins 1-0.
  
• July 28th: he gives up one run. No decision. Team wins 3-2.
  
• May 3rd: same as tonight - no runs on two hits. No decision. Team wins 1-0.
  
• April 22nd: no runs. No decision. Team wins 1-0.
  

This guy must be wondering just what he has to do to get a W. In those four games he pitched 25 2/3 innings and allowed only one earned run, for an ERA of 0.35, and his team won all four games, but he had absolutely nothing to show for it.
