As you regular readers know, I believe there is only one way to settle celebrity disputes: Thunderdome. Let them fight to the death on national TV. I think it would pull more viewers than the Super Bowl, so it stimulates the economy. And one of the contestants must die for sure, so we viewers get a guaranteed win in either case!By the way, this would make a great showdown event for the winners in our Douchebag of the Millennium poll. The best part of it - since Thunderdome is to the death, a 16-douchebag tournament would eliminate 15 major douchebags. Imagine a televised Thunderdome round featuring Osama bin Laden against Perez Hilton! Tremendous ad revenues. Tremendous revenues for the sports book in Vegas and Atlantic City. Talk about must-see TV! And a guaranteed happy result for every viewer.
