I may be wrong, but I think that Dina Lohan is the one and only person in the world who thinks her girls are OK. It seems to be the most complete case of one-person delusion since the Brewers' general manager agreed to give Eric Gagne $10m for a season with the Brew Crew, even though everyone else in the world seemed to know that Gagne's ERA had been 6.75 with the BoSox the previous year. He had blown every single save opportunity for the Sox and opposing batters had hit .325 against him.

Gagne pitched pretty much the way everyone else in the world expected him to. He blew the closer job and never saved a game after mid-May. He went on the DL in late May with an ERA of 6.98. When he came back he was the set-up man and he blew that job as well. His ERA remained over 6.00 for most of the year. Michael Lohan would be better off as Gagne's conservator. At least Gagne had the Brewers' $10 million.
