Shrek is more of a weekend franchise than a Friday date movie, but the producers still have to be somewhat disappointed with a $20 million Friday. It did easily win the day, however.MacGruber launched a nuclear bomb larger than the one in its plot. It took in only $1.6 million in 2500 theaters. It will probably end up toward the top of this list: the worst openings of all time, 2500 or more theaters.
