In principle, this ought to be a great weekend for mindless summer fun. The A-Team and the Karate Kid both seem to be pretty good projects. The Warrior thinks that A-Team will take the lead with some $37 million in 3000 theaters, closely followed by Karate Kid at $33 million in 3400 theaters.The two new films have decent reviews, but not ecstatic. (54% and 53% positive.)
