People were wondering what was wrong with him this year. Whatever it was, it's fixed. In his last 12 games he's 25 for 46. That's over .500 if you're scoring at home. He has raised his batting average 30 points in the last two weeks. He's still 29 points behind Josh Hamilton, who leads the league, but there are about 50 games left in the season, so Mauer has plenty of time to move up.
