Having solved all earth-bound problems, U.N. appoints ambassador to outer space.

U.N. appoints ambassador to outer space.
The U.N. says it needs to be ready with a coordinated "first contact" response that "takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject." A professor and space law expert at the U.K. Space Agency says that Othman is "absolutely the nearest thing we have to a 'take me to your leader' person," but if we ever encounter aliens in person, they're more likely to be microbes than anything intelligent.

Once again I've found something to be when I grow up - "space law expert."
