* The Social Network is the much-discussed story of the founding of Facebook. The director is the cult favorite David Fincher (Fight Club, SE7EN), and the reviews have been nothing short of ecstatic (97% positive)
* Let Me In is an English-language remake of the highly respected (97% positive reviews) 2008 Swedish vampire film, Let The Right One In, which is rated 8.1 at IMDb, placing it in the all-time Top 250. The new version has also received excellent reviews - 86% positive as of now.
Man, Sweden is a great place to be a vampire in Winter, but those summer nights are kind of short. Maybe the Swedish vampires spend winter in Tasmania. I wonder if there is a double red-eye connection from Stockholm to Hobart. If not, I suppose they can just ship themselves inside their coffins in the baggage compartment.
* Case 39 is a horror movie about a family services worker who encounters a mysteriously evil family, much like the Osmonds. Renee Zellweger stars, once again demonstrating her uncanny gift for picking bad scripts. 20% positive reviews. Critical consensus: "Director Christian Alvert has a stylish flair, but it's wasted on Case 39's frightless, unoriginal plot."
