Halladay wins his rematch against Lincecum

Halladay wins his re-match with Lincecum
Aubrey Huff's third-inning error was the key play, but the Phillies took advantage of a rare collapse from Lincecum to string three hits and an HBP around that error, and that offense was all they needed. The Phils went down in order in innings 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6, but ol' #3 was the killer. Lincecum allowed only four hits in seven innings, but that was just enough to lose.

Halladay wasn't dominant, but he did the job. The most impressive Phillies pitching of the game came from Ryan Madson, who struck out the side in the eighth, all on swinging strikes, against the Giants' 4-5-6 hitters, including Posey and Cody Ross.
