The Texas Rangers will play in their first World Series!

Who needs Cliff Lee? The Rangers win it all in game six.

That's a big win, because it means Lee will be available to pitch the Series opener, presumably against Halladay or Lincecum, and may even be able to start three times with a few breaks in the schedule.

The Rangers actually looked like they knew what they were doing. I'm kinda impressed. Colby Lewis allowed the Yankees only three hits, and the one Yankee run scored on a wild pitch. On the other side of the fence, the Yankees pitched around the 800-pound gorilla (Josh Hamilton), but that strategy ultimately failed because Guerrero and Cruz stepped up and delivered key extra-base hits.
