The Yankees stay alive behind Sabathia

The Yankees stay alive behind Sabathia

The big fella was actually not very sharp, allowing 11 hits in only six innings. He did, however, manage to contain the damage. The key stat: the Rangers were 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position, and that one hit did not even plate a run! The Rangers scored their only two runs on a solo homer and a ground out. Meanwhile, Sabathia's teammates were hitting three homers and scoring some runs, so the Evil Empire still has a chance to patch up the Death Star and defeat the spunky rebels.
