Aussie politicians to take intelligence tests

"candidates are being given intelligence tests to gauge if they are smart enough to be politicians."

Kind of a meaningless statement. If they are smart enough to chew food, they are smart enough to be politicians. The more important issue is whether they are smart enough to govern.
