Damn, first Perez Hilton, now Keith Olbermann! Have we passed "peak douchebag," only to face a future with a critical douchebag shortage? I believe that President Obama may soon have to allow us to tap into the nation's precious strategic douchebag reserve.

Although, to be fair, Olbermann sounded like an douchebag when he made that announcement, so there may still be hope.

"During tonight's Countdown, Keith Olbermann made a major announcement: effective immediately, he's suspending the show's 'Worse/Worser/Worst Person in the World' segment, with an aim at eventually killing it altogether. What brought Olbermann to this decision? Jon Stewart, naturally!"

All kidding aside, Olbermann is a brilliant and well-read guy. I was excited when I heard he was going to bring his wit and erudition to news from sports. But he's just been a lefty Glenn Beck with a higher IQ. A douchebag.
