ROTTEN TOMATOES: Movies Opening This Week

ROTTEN TOMATOES: Movies Opening This Week

Harry Potter Wears Depends, Part 1, is the latest in the venerable franchise. The once-young wizard is now trying to use his powers to collect Social Security. 81% positive reviews, 4000+ theaters. Opening day will be a monster. Records may be broken.

The Next Three Days is a thriller directed by Paul Haggis, starring Liam Neeson, Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks. "A married couple's life is turned upside down when the wife is accused of a murder." This remake of the French film "Anything for Her" will be in about 2500 theaters. Given the A-list pedigree, it's somewhat surprising that it has only received 51% positive reviews, and got two thumbs down from Variety and Hollywood Reporter.
