Well, they were playing in Salt Lake City, so they had the home field advantage!
The good news for Utah - they move into a different conference next year - one without TCU.
TCU certainly showed that they were a credible #3 by slaughtering the #5 team, but Auburn and Oregon both won big (62-24 and 53-16), so TCU can't move up.
While the top four were all winning by 35-40 points, they are now the only four undefeated teams, so the only interesting question for next week is "Who will be #5?"
#5 Utah was massacred by TCUThose results seem to indicate that next week's #5 team could be either #9 Wisconsin or #10 LSU, which pulled out a big win over Alabama. I think Wisconsin will go to #5 in the two human polls, because they were #7 this week, and the two teams above them lost. The BCS rankings are another story because of the computer factor. The computers already liked LSU a lot more than Wisconsin before this week, and the win over Alabama will further accentuate LSU's edge
#6 Alabama lost
#7 Nebraska barely hung on to beat an unrated team by one point.
#8 Oklahoma lost to Texas A&M by two touchdowns.
