The Weekend Warrior's box office analysis: November 24 - 28

The Weekend Warrior's box office analysis: November 24 - 28
There are four new wide releases this week. None of them has the muscle to usurp the box office throne from Harry P, but they are expected to take slots 2-4-5-6, with Megamind holding up well enough to finish third. The five-day forecasts follow:

Disney's animated Tangled is expected to gross about $40 million in some 3600 theaters.

Burlesque, with Cher and Christina Aguilera, is slated for fourth with $20 million in 3000+ theaters.

Faster, the frequently advertised action/revenge pic with the Rock and Billy Bob, is expected to finish fifth, with about $17 million in 2400+ theaters.

Love and Other Drugs, the love story which has already become semi-notorious because of the nudity from Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal, is expected to gross some $13 million in 2400+ theaters.
