Here's a shocker: the weekend was won by last week's #3, Gnomeo and Juliet. That means it had to pass those other two films and beat the new ones as well, which it did, however unlikely that would have seemed last week.Nic Cage's film really bombed, despite surprisingly good reviews (45% positive). It finished in 9th place, grossing only $5 million, which was less thsan half of expectations.
