"British author Tim Adler's latest book, 'House of Redgrave: The Secret Lives of a Theatrical Dynasty,' is filled with bombshell revelations about one of Britain's most celebrated acting families. On this week's Poliwood, Roger Simon and Lionel Chetwynd delve into the sordid politics to which Vanessa Redgrave and her brother Corin were dedicated. How did these children of privilege come to think of themselves as leaders of the working class? And why did they embrace the leader of the Workers Revolutionary Party even after he admitted to having 'red sex slaves'?"

Scoopy, are you serious? Every time you link to any Poliwood video I cringe. They are insanely anti-liberal, but this is just too much. OK, so they can't enjoy Vanessa Redgrave's films because they can't stop thinking about her supposed antisemitism. Because they just know that she hates Jews, even if she's publicly outspoken against antisemitism. They just know, because in their minds being pro-Palestinian equals wanting to destroy all Jews.
ReplyDelete"The Redgraves are not simply anti-Zionist... they don't like Jews. But that's OK! Because that's what the English upper class is..." Are they listening to themselves?
And then they go on and on... Tony Kushner doesn't deserve an award? Chomsky, a reprobate lowlife?
These guys are just a couple of prejudiced bigots carrying their personal witchhunt from their pulpit. I honestly don't get what you find interesting about their rants.
