Everything proceeded according to expectations. As expected, Super 8 took first while Judy Moody and Midnight in Paris finished 7-8. All grosses were about as predicted.
Midnight in Paris did quite nicely per theater, pulling in about the same amount as X-Men. (I enjoyed it, although I had to drive 30 miles to see it!)
In holdover news, Bridesmaids is doing better than expected. It dropped only 15% from last week.
