Since it has been picked up by an MPAA signatory, it cannot be released unrated in the USA. Since the director has final cut and will not cut a frame of his masterpiece, the film seems destined to achieve NC-17 status. (That's not good for their business, but is very good for us, since the film includes extensive nudity from Carey Mulligan.)
