The Twilight movies are now the all-time chick-flicks. I define a "chick-flick" mathematically. It is one where the average IMDb score from female voters minus the IMDb score from male voters is greater than 1.0. Very few films exceed 1.0. Fried Green Tomatoes doesn't even make the group, although it hovers nearby at .9. Legally Blonde barely qualifies with exactly 1.0. Even Beaches only scores a 1.2. The reigning champion for years and years was Dirty Dancing, which is currently at 1.6.
Breaking Dawn is currently at 3.3.
That's not a misprint or a typo.
This thing is so unmanly it makes Daniel Radcliffe seem like Lee Van Cleef, and Elijah Wood seem like the reincarnation of Lee Marvin. Men rate it a cellar-dwelling 3.6 at IMDb, a score that might embarrass John Derek or Ed Wood. Women rate it a very respectable 6.9, which is higher than the career median of Francis Ford Coppola!
