Are Expensive Batteries Worth the Extra Cost?

They are for some specific applications, but in general the extra energy supplied by the better batteries is almost perfectly proportionate to their extra cost. The only downside to buying the cheaper ones, therefore, is that you have to change the batteries more often.

Bottom line: there's really no harm in buying the expensive ones, but there's not much of an advantage either.
