There is only one film in saturated distribution, and I guess it must be a stinker based on the reviews. The Devil Inside is rated 9% at RT. 2300 theaters.
In most areas of the USA you will have a better choice: Tailor Tinker Soldier Spy is rated 84%. That's an adaptation of a John Le Carre novel, and it stars Gary Oldman, who has gotten some Oscar buzz. It will be in about 900 theaters.
Despite the reviews, it's entirely possible that The Devil Inside will usurp the box office throne from MI4. The industry people are thinking The Devil Inside will gross about $20 million this weekend, and that may be enough to reach the top. MI4 will pull in about $17m, assuming approximately a 40% drop.
With limited distribution and niche appeal, Tailor Tinker Soldier Spy is not expected to be a factor in the box office sweepstakes. It will appear somewhere near the bottom of the top ten.
