He noted that Brett Ratner wouldn't have had to step down if he had been producer of the more forgiving Grammy Awards. "At the Grammys, you can literally beat the shit out of a nominee and be asked to perform twice."
As for "The Artist" -- which wound up winning four Spirit Awards, including Best Feature -- Rogen quipped, "I thought we created the whole foreign film category to stop this shit from happening."
