Weekend Box Office Results for February 3-5, 2012

The tight race continued, as Chronicle apparently held on for a $22M-$21M victory over The Woman in Black, pending the final numbers. Both films exceeded expectations, and had great Saturdays. On any weekend with a normal Sunday, their final numbers might even have been quite a bit higher higher.

Big Miracle finished about as expected, with between 8 and 9 million, good enough for fourth place. In fact, the estimates show that it turned in a solid third place on Sunday.
