Think Like a Man opened huge. It took in $12 million despite being on only 2000 screens. That's not a fluke. People like this movie. Moviegoers under 25 awarded it a CinemaScore of A+, although critics were on the fence (49% positive reviews).

The Lucky One also performed well, grossing $9 million, although its revenues per screen were less than half of Think Like a Man's.

Chimpanzee did better than expected. It almost unseated the Hunger Games from the #3 spot, and took in twice as much per theater as the reigning four-time champion.
