New Movies In Theaters This Week- Rotten Tomatoes

New Movies In Theaters This Week - Rotten Tomatoes

There are two new films in wide distribution this week, neither of them really new, but celebrations of the late 90s in one way or another. It seems that those two films will battle Hunger Games for the #1 spot this weekend:
The 3-D version of Titanic is expected to gross a bit less than $30 million in 2500 theaters.

American Reunion is expected to gross a hair more than that in 3200 theaters. It is rated R for all the things that make life worthwhile: crude and sexual content, nudity and foul language. I've been looking forward to this film, so I'm a bit disappointed that it was not pre-screened for critics. That's usually the studio's tacit admission that the film sucks. I hope this is an exception to that rule of thumb.
