It's an easy week for me. The following are on vacation: Leno, Letterman, Fallon, Kimmel, and Conan. The following are off Monday, but return Tuesday: Colbert, Stewart.
That leaves only Craig Ferguson (see below) to work on the holiday, as is appropriate. Why the hell do we let foreigners in this country anyway, if not to do what we cannot or will not do? I suppose it's not really appropriate for American comics to be all wacky on a day dedicated to remembering our war dead, but just as we need Eastern Europeans to kick our field goals and vaguely Nordic types to tame our Las Vegas tigers, we always need Scotsmen to tell us the dirty jokes we secretly crave on otherwise somber and reflective national holidays.
