An "evil hoax"? That's a bit of melodrama, isn't it? Does this really sound like the work of The Red Skull or Lex Luthor or Blofeld? If so, they're really running low on evil ideas.

Bethel, Alaska's hopes for a Taco Bell are crushed.
"In what has been described as an evil hoax, the town of Bethel, Alaska, has learned it is not getting a Taco Bell. Not now. Not ever."
