Are they planning to shutter the doors? As of this date, they may be fielding the worst major league team since the 1962 Mets. They are 28th in the majors in ERA, and 27th in runs scored. Their clean-up hitter has a lifetime slugging average of .394. Their #3 hitter has a .764 OPS. Their #2 hitter has a .302 on base percentage. In their last 26 games they are 2-24, and they only scored two runs in one of those wins. I'm not sure if this team could top .500 in the minors.

They are still pulling 15,000-25,000 fans per game, which is not good but is downright amazing in light of the product they're selling. But how long can that last?
