And what better film to merit an HD restoration? Manos is the Lawrence of Arabia of films made by fertilizer salesmen.

John Reynolds, the 25-year-old actor who played Torgo, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a shotgun on October 16, 1966, a month before the film was to premiere. I know what you're thinking, but the suicide did not seem to be related to the film in any way.
