These are some good examples.
In my years of studying the media, I've found that they almost always miss the best point or the most interesting point because they are intent on using the news to develop their own narrative. The right-wingers call this liberal bias, and there is some of that I suppose, but most of the time it just seems to me to be a combination of shallow thinking and a rush to print.
