Even when they were down 9-0 with two out in the ninth, I still figured the Cards would win somehow. I guess Odin went into the Odinsleep before Game 7.
It's Giants-Tigers. That makes history. The Giants have been in the NL since 1883 and have gone to the World Series 19 times; the Tigers have been in the AL since it began in 1901 and have gone to the Series 10 times; yet they have never played each other in the World Series.
