This is a low-budget indie with a tentative 2013 release date, but the creators' credentials are solid:

Bret Easton Ellis is the author of the novels "American Psycho" and "The Rules of Attraction."

Paul Shrader is the author of the Taxi Driver screenplay and the co-author of the Raging Bull screenplay.
