Weekend Box Office Results for October 12-14, 2012

Weekend Box Office Results for October 12-14, 2012
Argo passed Sinister over the weekend. They finished 2-3 for the weekend, and each did a bit better than expected. Sinister got a poor C+ CinemaScore, but will make a boatload of money for its investors since it cost only three million to create and has already grossed $18M. Argo got a rare A+ CinemaScore, which should give it some good legs. It will also get a long look from the Oscar committee.

Here Comes the Boom finished fifth and grossed maybe just a smidge better than anticipated.

Seven Psychopaths grossed only four million, but they produced it for fifteen million, so it's not a disaster.

Atlas Shrugged took in less than two million and failed to make the top ten. It is currently sitting on a "perfect" score at Rotten Tomatoes: 0%, aka The Full Benigni.
