Petition: grant the city of Austin permission to withdraw from the state of Texas when it secedes

Petition to peacefully grant the city of Austin Texas permission to withdraw from the state of Texas & remain part of the United States when Texas secedes.

Austin, my long-time home, is known as the nicest California city that's not actually in California.

I'd go a step beyond that. It's actually the best California city, period, because its convenient location outside of California means there's no onerous state income tax.
