NFL Football Scores - Week 15

NFL Football Scores - Week 15
The Seahawks put up 50 again! WTF? They never scored more than 30 in the first twelve games, then put up 58 and 50 back to back. In those two games they outscored the opposition by 91 points. In the entire history of the NFL, that great a differential had never happened before in consecutive regular season games. OK, the differential record was set against two weak opponents, but I guess we'll find out if they're for real next week when they battle the tough 49ers with both teams needing the win. (The 49ers have clinched a playoff spot, but need to defeat the Seahawks to clinch the division, and they want to keep winning in order to hold on to the first-round bye.) By the way, the Seahawks' record was marred by a bit of controversy when they ran a fake punt in the fourth quarter with a four-TD lead. The Seahawks coach later apologized for those shenanigans.

Adrian Peterson - 212 yards on the ground. OK, now the guy is just showing off. He now has a reasonable shot at the all-time rushing record for a season. He has 1,812 yards, so he needs to average 147 per week to break the record, and he may just do that because the situation is in his favor. The Vikings need to keep winning to keep their playoff hopes alive, and they have virtually no way to win other than to hand AP the ball, so he'll get his carries. It ain't gonna be that easy, given that he'll be against two tough teams, Houston (12-2) and the Packers (10-4), but Peterson ran for 210 against the Pack earlier in the year.
