High school teacher, 23, 'tweeted nude photos of herself, called her students JAIL BAIT and talked about getting high'

Thought one: "Where were these teachers when I was in school?"

Thought two: "What does it matter? If they had existed, they would have been fucking much cooler guys than me."

Reader comment:

There was a discussion about (female) teachers who have sex with their male students at a forum I frequent, and someone posted this comprehensive list of female teachers who were sexual abusers. (Sorry it's WND.)

I read the entire thing owing to insanity, and there are some very obvious trends.

1) In general, the older the female teacher, the younger the average age of the victim and vice-versa. Once the age of the teacher gets to 25 or under, the there are virtually no cases where the "victim" is younger then 16. At 23 and 17, calling it abuse starts to get silly, obviously.

2) There's a very high correlation between the abuser being a gym teacher or sports coach and the victim being female.

3) Red, very religious states are represented WAY out of proportion to their populations. When I recognized locales in Florida and other more Purple States, it was clear that cases cropped up more in rural areas then cities and suburbs. I counted something like 4 out of 200+ incidents in the boroughs of NYC and something like a dozen in Utah. In general, the Blue State teachers were younger and the Red State teachers were older. This MIGHT be a difference in enforcement, but I think it's that horny teachers in Blue States and urban centers have a much easier time getting laid outside school.

4) Once you get under 35 or so, in cases where pictures are given the women are not, in general, what I would think of as unattractive. There's probably a very strong component of their being pursued by the boys, especially in the more religious areas where the boys will have fewer willing partners their own age.

5) I'm not sure what the proportion of Special-Ed to regular teachers is overall, but I'm a bit concerned at the number I saw and what it implies.

6) There very few post-menopausal abusers.

7) The abusers seem to be far Whiter then the population at large. Of the abusers with pictures, close the 95% were White. There were a handful of Hispanics, less then three blacks, and exactly one Asian.

8) There were only a handful of victims under 12.

9) The abusers seem to be far Whiter then the population at large. Of the abusers with pictures, close the 95% were White. There were a handful of Hispanics, less then three blacks, and exactly one Asian.

10) In a very large number of cases where the teacher was under 35 and the student was over 16, the student was identified as a football player. I dunno how cool you were in High School, Scoop, I was the Alpha Nerd in an all boys school (I was both the geekiest and the biggest and strongest), but I think your guess that twenty-something ladies going for the cooler guys is dead on.

So either you're a horny young girl going for Juniors or Seniors, or a woman in a fairly religious community with limited sexual outlets grabbing what's available, or both. The mercifully few cases where a very young woman went for a middle-schooler often had statements from her about the boy being the most loving man she had known, which kind of corroborates my suspicions about the utter dysfunction of the communities. It should also be noted that the US murder rate per year is something like 7 per 100,000 and the arrest rate for this is 0.006 per 100,000. Even if 90% of the time they get away with it, it isn't exactly a national catastrophe.
