Note that news story is dated 2004. I recall when that all went down, and there was a fair amount of attention given to it at the time.
The Cash family vetoed use of the song (Google it), but I could swear I actually saw the commercial at one point. I suppose the would-be ad may have been shown during a news story on the subject.
