Iran space official: Photo shows wrong monkey

Easy enough error to make. I wish I had a nickel for every time I've photographed the wrong monkey.

"Ebrahimi said Saturday that photos of two different monkeys were released by the Iranian media. One was an archive photo of a backup monkey."

Aha! It was the much-dreaded evil backup monkey. I'll bet the back-up monkey got jealous and snuck his picture in there, much as Gus Grissom used to do when he got jealous of John Glenn and Alan Shepherd.

Not that you can compare Gus Grissom to a backup monkey. Gus only flung his poop at Gordo.
