And the "encouragement" involves certain penalties for non-compliance, like labor camps or Celine Dion music.

Or, for those who are real hairstyle mavericks, labor camps WITH Celine Dion music.

"The eighteen hairstyles to choose from — displayed on the wall of a salon in the capital of Pyongyang — appear to be more like three, as mostly all of them look exactly the same. The bizarre campaign is aimed at stomping out Western influences."
